Cathy has over 10 years experience in the beauty industry. Beginning her career as a Beauty Therapist, Cathy pursued her passion for mentoring  to become a Beauty Trainer and Assessor. A compassionate and approachable Trainer, Cathy strives to provide an exceptional learning experience for her students. Her strong leadership and communication skills allow her to guide her students to success.

Cathy holds qualifications in Training and Assessing, Beauty Therapy, Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Hair Reduction.

Anthony Waters

Anthony has over 18 years experience in education and customer service. His previous roles have included Business Coach at Westpac, a high school teacher and State Customer Service Manager for Sylvania Lighting Australasia.  Now, Anthony is loving life as a Business and Management Trainer and Assessor at Ivy. Enthusiastic about leading, training and mentoring, Anthony makes a real contribution to the development of our students. He is passionate about people, service and building great business relationships.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Education and qualifications in Management, Training and Assessment and Customer Contact.

Abdullah Mamun

Abdullah MamunAbdullah has over 10 years experience in the Information Technology industry and began his career as a Web Services Specialist. Since then, he has held various IT Support Teaching roles.

Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Applied Computing and qualifications in IT (Software Development) and International Computer Studies.

Karen Palmer

Karen_PalmerKaren has over 17 years experience in the field of Health and Wellness where she practiced as a Massage Therapist. 7 years ago, she decided to make a move into education to integrate her experience in Health and Wellness with her experience in the Business sector. During this time Karen has held management and academic roles with various private colleges.

Karen is passionate about education and how she can contribute to a student’s life as a Trainer.

Karen holds qualifications in Management, Business, Frontline Management, Training and Assessment, and Auditing.

Carl HarrimanCarl has over 18 years experience in business and management, working across a range of roles including Customer Service, Administration, Project Management and Call Centre Management. Now as a Business and Management Trainer and Assessor at Ivy, Carl shares his expert industry knowledge, experience and skillset onto his students.

With a friendly, kind, warm and approachable nature, Carl loves working with his students to help them to achieve their dream careers. “Seeing a student grow and develop during their study makes my day, and becoming a Trainer allows me to support the student journey”.

Lauren TimmsLauren has over 7 years experience in the beauty industry and holds qualifications in Beauty Therapy and Training and Assessment. Following roles such as a Salon Manager at Hamilton Island and Counter Manager at Ella Bache, David Jones, Lauren became a Beauty Therapy Trainer and Assessor at Ivy because she wanted to share her passion and love for beauty with her students.

A Trainer with fantastic leadership skills and a true passion for seeing her students achieve their dreams, Lauren strives to inspire students. Her down-to-earth nature and genuine care for students makes her a true talent at Ivy!

Amy SilverAmy has over 11 years experience in the beauty industry and has held various roles including Senior Beauty Therapist, Spa Manager, Business Consultant for Dermalogica. Holding qualifications in Training and Assessing and Beauty Therapy, Amy is now training the Beauty Therapists and Salon Managers of the future by sharing her expert knowledge and industry skills with her students.

Amy Kendall-Hewitt

Amy Kendall-HewittAmy has over 20 years experience in the beauty industry and has extensive experience working in a range of beauty clinics, from salons to luxury day spas. Amy gained her postgraduate qualification in education in 2006 and has experience teaching, lecturing and assessing beauty students in the UK. Amy holds qualifications in Beauty and Spa Therapy, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.

Having recently relocated to Australia, Amy looks forward to meeting students from all over Australia at Ivy’s practical workshops.

Eve Nguyen

Eve NguyenEve has over 15 years of experience in the health & wellbeing industry. Some of the highlights of her career include being a health author and delivering cooking classes and health workshops. Eve enjoys providing information and motivation for people to reach their goals, and to help individuals to discover and achieve their potential to perform at their best.

Eve holds a Bachelor of Health Science Naturopathy, a Certificate in the Science of Happiness (positive psychology), and is currently completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology.

Linda Mitar

Linda MitarLinda has over 20 years experience in the health & wellbeing industry in a variety of positions from a Naturopathic Consultant to Student Clinic Supervisor and roles in health food stores and pharmacies. Not only is Linda a qualified Naturopath, she also holds qualifications in Nutrition, Remedial Massage, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy and Health Science (Complimentary Medicine).

Linda loves mentoring her students, passing on her knowledge and helping students achieve their career goals.
