How to Enrol

Diploma of Beauty Therapy now open for enrolments. Register your interest for courses commencing in 2017.

To enrol in Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses with Ivy College, you will need capability in English and mathematics to at least Year 12 level.

To show evidence of this capability, during the enrolment process you will need to have satisfied the following:

  • Provide a copy of your senior secondary certificate in education or equivalent, or
  • Provide a copy of a nationally recognised diploma or higher qualification (completed within the last 5 years), or
  • Successfully complete the Diploma Entry Test

All students are also required to have a unique email address and access to a computer with an internet connection.

4 simple steps to enrolling at Ivy College:

  1. Click on the enrol now tab at the top right hand corner of any page on the Ivy College website, ivy.edu.au
  2. Complete all the required fields on the Ivy College online enrolment form
    1. Make sure you have your Unique Student Identifier (USI) handy
      1. If you don’t have a USI you can create one in just a few minutes by clicking on the following link and filling in a few details: http://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi
      2. You will not be able to be issued a qualification or Statement of Attainment without a USI unless you fall into an exemption category
    2. Complete the payment request form attached to the enrolment application to pay your course fee up front or to set up a payment plan
      1. At time of enrolment a $100 non-refundable down payment must be made. (This payment counts towards payment of your course fee.)
  1. You will receive an email from Ivy College with a formatted copy of your enrolment form (including the payment request form) attached.
    1. Please check that all fields are correct
    2. Complete the e-signature section and submit
    3. If you are under 18 you will need a parent or guardian to sign the enrolment form as well
    4. If you are under 18 and live independently you will need to provide a letter from Centrelink verifying that you receive a Youth Allowance because you live independently and upload this with the enrolment form in place of a parent or guardians signature
  2. The minimum entry requirement for Ivy College Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses is completion of a senior secondary certificate in education or equivalent, or satisfactory completion of a Diploma or higher qualification within the last 5 years, or completion of the Diploma Entry Test.
    1. If you have completed Year 12 please email a certified copy of your Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or equivalent to our Student Support team or,
    2. Email a certified copy of your nationally recognised diploma or higher qualification (completed within the last 5 years)
    3. If you are unable to meet either options (a) or (b) above, you will need to undertake the Diploma Entry Test.
      1. The Diploma Entry Test forms part of the entry requirements for course entry.
      2. The test is an online test involving a series of questions designed to assess a learner’s numeracy and literacy proficiency and should be undertaken with honesty and integrity.
      3. Should you not pass the test on your first attempt you may be offered a second attempt.
      4. Test results will be provided to you as soon as practicable after assessment.
      5. Your test results will be retained by Ivy College for 5 years.
