We love a bargain beauty buy and we’ve decided to hunt around for our favourite purse-friendly beauty products. From foundation to mascara, nail polish to cleansers, beauty lovers, you’ll want to note these products down. Let’s go!
Product: Fit Me! Matte and Poreless foundation from Maybelline New York
Why we love it: Fit Me! Matte and Poreless foundation from Maybelline New York goes beyond skin tone matching to fit the unique texture issues of normal to oily skin for the ultimate natural skin fit. This product leaves your skin with the perfect dewy look. It’s light, smooth and non-greasy. Best of all it gives great coverage. Bang on budget at under $20*.
Product: Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick
Why we love it: A great lipstick is an essential addition to any beauty therapists make-up kit. We’ve found a great lipstick that offers fantastic value for money! Rimmel have knocked it out of the park with their Lasting Finish range. These highly pigmented lipsticks are long-wearing and super creamy. Pick yours up for a cool $10*.
Product: L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes
Why we love it: Lancome Hypnose mascara has long been a firm favourite amongst beauty lovers and make-up junkies alike due to its wide brush and smooth formula that evenly coats lashes without clumping (yay!). However, this mascara is a little expensive at approx. $50*. If you’re looking to splurge less and save more without losing too much quality on a product, then look to L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes. Similarly to Lancome, the L’Oreal brush contains small bristles that work to gently thicken each individual lash, while the rigid wand allows you to spread the silky liquid evenly from root to tip. At approx. $15*, your purse will thank us.
Product: Model’s Prefer Blush in Desk to Date
Why we love it: The secret to spotting a good blush is the ability to build colour. Anything that comes on too strong means dolly cheeks and no one wants that! Model’s Prefer Blush in Desk to Date ($9.99*) is the perfect sheer peach with just a hint of shimmer. An ultra-soft blush with buildable colour that provides the perfect glow for every look, The Models Prefer range of blush is great for anyone looking for a quality blush with excellent value for the price.
Product: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
Why we love it: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser ($13.99*) is a multi-award winning cleanser recommended by both dermatologists and celebrities including Claire Danes. This fragrance and soap-free cleanser is perfect for all skin types including sensitive skin thanks to the non-alkaline and non-comedogenic formula that won’t dry your skin or dull your healthy glow.
Product: Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Purifying Mask
Why we love it: Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Purifying Mask like a lot of the other Palmer’s products smells absolutely delicious, like chocolate. It works to detoxify the skin, helping to create a brighter, clearer complexion and reduces redness and scarring. The Palmer’s mask contains kaolin clay to clean congested skin, and natural papaya fruit acids to tighten pores and banish dead skin cells for a smoother, younger-looking finish. If this product isn’t amazing enough already, it also contains anti-ageing benefits and is suitable for all skin types! Pick yours up for $9.99*
Product: Nail Polish: Rimmel 60 Second Super Shine
Why we love it: When it comes to nail polish most of us have no patience! I for one, can’t be bothered to wait 10 minutes for it to dry. Before I know it, I’m up and about and inevitably my mani is covered in smudges and dents. Then Rimmel created a product which is a godsend for anyone who is a little impatient. Rimmel 60 Second Super Shine offers 3 in 1 nail technology. With one stroke, the flexible colour contains a self-adapting base coat and a protective glossy top coat finish. A hardwearing, chip resistant, long-lasting polish with a great colour finish Rimmel 60 Second Super Shine is available in over 30 shades. At $5.95* each, we’re picking one up in every shade!
